MCGI's Transient Home
Is one of the Public Services envisioned by Kuya Daniel Razon.
On October 29, 2008, Kuya Daniel made his dream come true. The Kamanggagawa Foundation, Inc. (KFI) Transient Home was inagaurated and became a refuge to homeless families and individuals. The transient home provides sleeping beds and free meals to transients.
With Kamanggagawa Foundation, Inc. and Bro. Eli Soriano of Members Church of God International, Kuya Daniel sustains the operation of the two transient homes located in Quezon City and Apalit, Pampanga.
It all started when two men at separate locations watched the same film and had the same idea. Kuya Daniel was one, and the other was the project’s primary supporter: Members Church of God International’s (MCGI) Bro. Eli Soriano. Seeing the hardships the characters in the movie suffered, the two thought of their fellow Filipinos who sleep on the streets, exposed to all kinds of maltreatment and abuse. And thus was the birth of the KFI Transient Home which officially opened its doors on October 29, 2008.
Transient Home caters to all clients from all walks of life, free of charge. Those who are in dire need of medical assistance, financially distressed, victims of illegal recruitment; physically, psychosocially and sexually abused and exploited; people with no outright transportation in going back to the province are the prime beneficiaries of the Transient Home. The length of stay of each client depends on the nature of the case/problem. Its doors are open to all who seek shelter from the dangers the dark night can deliver.
